01About Unhidden

Unhidden is a mental wellness advisory and coaching platform that provides individuals with access to personalised, non-clinical mental wellness support. The service is operated by [Your Full Legal Name] ("the Advisor", "we", "us", or "our").

The Advisor holds a Masters-level qualification in a mental health-related discipline and has specialised training in trauma-informed support. However, the Advisor is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, or medical professional, and does not operate as one through this platform.

02Important Disclaimer — Not Therapy, Not Medical Advice

2.1  This is Not Therapy or Psychotherapy

The services provided through Unhidden are mental wellness coaching and advisory services. They are NOT:

• Psychotherapy or psychotherapeutic treatment
• Clinical counselling or clinical psychology
• Psychiatric care or psychiatric treatment
• Any form of licensed mental health treatment
• A substitute or replacement for any of the above

No therapist-client or doctor-patient relationship is formed through the use of this service.

2.2  This is Not Medical Advice

Nothing communicated through Unhidden — including messages, responses, resources, or any other content — constitutes medical advice, medical diagnosis, or medical treatment. The Advisor will not provide:

• Diagnosis of any mental health condition or disorder
• Prescription or recommendation of any medication
• Assessment of fitness for any medical or legal purpose
• Medical opinions or clinical evaluations of any kind

If you have or believe you may have a mental health condition requiring clinical diagnosis or treatment, you are strongly encouraged to consult a licensed mental health professional or medical doctor.

2.3  No Professional Liability for Advice Given

The guidance, support, perspectives, and information shared by the Advisor are provided in a personal, educational, and supportive capacity only. You acknowledge and agree that:

1. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make based on any information or guidance received through Unhidden.
2. The Advisor is not liable for any outcome, action, or inaction you take as a result of engaging with this service.
3. You will seek professional clinical, legal, or medical advice for any matter that requires it.
4. The Advisor's support is one resource among many and should not be your only source of care or guidance.

2.4  Limitations of the Service

Due to the non-clinical nature of this service, the Advisor cannot and will not:

• Write letters for court, legal proceedings, or insurance purposes
• Provide clinical assessments for employment, benefits, or disability claims
• Act as an expert witness or provide medico-legal reports
• Diagnose, treat, or monitor any mental health condition
• Prescribe or advise on medication or supplements

If you disclose or indicate suicidal ideation or intent, intent to harm yourself or another person, disclosure of abuse of a child or vulnerable adult, or any situation requiring immediate emergency intervention, the Advisor will encourage you to contact emergency services and provide crisis resources. In situations involving risk to life or legally reportable disclosures, the Advisor may be required to take appropriate action in accordance with applicable laws.

04Subscription, Billing & Cancellation

4.1  Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance on your billing date. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges until you cancel. Prices are in USD and may be subject to local taxes.

4.2  Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing period.

4.3  Refund Policy

Due to the nature of the service, refunds are generally not provided once a billing period has commenced. Exceptions may be made at the Advisor's sole discretion in exceptional circumstances. Contact [your@email.com] to discuss any concerns.

05Your Responsibilities as a Member

By using Unhidden, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information during onboarding and throughout your membership
• Use the service for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes only
• Engage respectfully and in good faith with the Advisor
• Not share your account access with others
• Not rely solely on Unhidden for your mental health and wellbeing
• Seek emergency or clinical services when your situation requires it

The Advisor reserves the right to terminate your membership without refund if you engage in abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour.

06Confidentiality & Privacy

6.1  Our Commitment

Your personal information and the content of your conversations will not be shared with third parties except where required by law or court order, where there is a credible risk of serious harm to you or another person, or with your explicit written consent.

6.2  Limits of Confidentiality

Messages sent through third-party platforms are subject to those platforms' privacy policies. No digital communication channel can be guaranteed as 100% secure.

6.3  US Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA including the right to know what personal data is collected, the right to delete your data, and the right to opt out of data sales. Unhidden does not sell personal data. Contact [your@email.com] to exercise your rights.

07Member Anonymity

7.1  Pseudonym Sign-Up (All Tiers)

All members may sign up using a chosen pseudonym and any valid email address. No real name is required at any point. Your payment card details are held solely by Stripe and are never seen or stored by the Advisor.

7.2  Anonymity Add-On (Optional — $9/mo)

Members who add this receive a randomly assigned member code (e.g. UNH-4821) used in place of any name, explicit written confirmation that no identifying information is stored or referenced by the Advisor, and a dedicated private messaging thread with enhanced discretion protocols.

7.3  Limits of Anonymity

Stripe retains payment data per their own privacy policy. If a disclosure creates a legal duty to act, the Advisor may be required to act regardless of anonymous status. No digital channel can be guaranteed 100% secure.

08Advisor Anonymity

The Advisor operates Unhidden under a professional alias and does not disclose their personal identity, physical location, or identifying information to members. This is a deliberate feature of the service.

By agreeing to these Terms, you agree that:

• You will not attempt to identify, locate, or contact the Advisor outside of the Unhidden platform
• Any attempt to identify, expose, or harass the Advisor will result in immediate membership termination and may be subject to legal action
• The Advisor's anonymity does not diminish the validity of these Terms or the quality of the service

09Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

1. The Advisor is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
2. The Advisor is not liable for any decisions you make or actions you take based on guidance received through Unhidden.
3. The Advisor is not liable for any harm resulting from your failure to seek appropriate clinical, medical, or emergency services when needed.
4. Total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the three (3) months preceding any claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the Advisor operates. Disputes shall be resolved first through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

You retain your rights under applicable federal and state consumer protection laws, which cannot be waived by these Terms.

11Informed Consent

By using Unhidden, I confirm that:

1. I understand Unhidden is a mental wellness coaching and advisory service — NOT therapy, psychotherapy, clinical counselling, or medical treatment.
2. I understand the Advisor is a masters-level trained professional but is not a licensed therapist or medical doctor.
3. I understand no therapist-client or doctor-patient relationship is formed through this service.
4. I understand the Advisor cannot provide medical advice, clinical diagnosis, or prescribe medication.
5. I understand Unhidden is not a crisis service and I will contact emergency services if I am in immediate danger.
6. I understand I am responsible for my own decisions and the Advisor is not liable for outcomes arising from guidance I receive.
7. I am 18 years of age or older and entering this service voluntarily.
8. I understand I can end my membership at any time in accordance with the cancellation policy.
